The Permanent Exhibition on Queen Rambhai Barni presents the biography of H.M. the Queen in chronological order beginning with her early life at the palace, the royal wedding, the official visits to places in Thailand and other countries, her stay in England during the WWII period, and the royal duties during the last 35 years of her life among the people in Chanthaburi, her patronage of local craftsmanship. It includes oral histories taken from the interviews of people close to her as well, a testament to her dignified and unyielding character fostered in the early years and her brilliance and skill in supporting herself and His Majesty throughout 80 years of her life. Also presented through the simulation and multimedia are her personal belongings and related objects.

On 9th January 2008, Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of the Queen Rambhai Barni Permanent Exhibition and Rambhai Barni Building located on the Museum premises.
