Rare Photographs and
Items during the Reign of King Prajadhipok

At the Heritage Building, King Prajadhipok Museum

The exhibition aimed to collect and display unique objects, documents, and photographs relating to King Prajadhipok and Queen Rambhai Barni and to increase the museum’s visibility in the public eye. Collaborating with the artifacts and object conservation committee, the acquisition committee assigned the museum director and staff to prepare the exhibition content following the provided form and topics. The exhibition itself was under the care of Plan Motif Co., Ltd and was in four parts. Widely advertised via printed media, radio, and television both before and during the exhibition opening, it told stories of King Prajadhipok’s Institution exhibition, the history of the museum, his late majesty’s biography and his royal duties with Sala Charlernkung Theatre Mock-up.

Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony on 12 November 2001.

Princess Galyani Vadhana, Princess of Naradhiwas, the elder sister of King Rama VIII and King Rama IX visited the exhibition on 10 December 2001.
