a double decker bus measuring tape

General

Material : Plastic and Metal
Source : Borrowed from M.L. Preeyapa Savastivatana Dent

Description

A measuring tape in a shape of a British double-decker bus in white and red. On the side of the bus is the word “Selfridges”. Presumably, this means Selfridges Department Store, which opened its first branch in London in 1909 and still operates to this day. At the front of the bus is a small ring to pull out a retractable measuring tape.
It may be a souvenir sold at the gift shop, similar to how Harrod has its house brands, selling consumer goods and souvenirs. However, there is currently no information available about the house brands of the Selfridges Department store.
