“Two Virtuous Kings: King Prajadhipok and King Bhumibol”

Held between 2 January to 30 September 2006

At the Temporary exhibition room on first floor, the heritage building, King Prajadhipok Museum.

The exhibition aimed to celebrate the diamond jubilee or the 60th anniversary of King Bhumibol’s accession to the throne and the kingship of King Prajadhipok and King Bhumibol, on the Buddhist virtues that both Kings upheld, the universal convention of monarch’s conduct under the constitution and the similar tastes both kings shared for still-life photographs, films, and music.

Rear Admiral His Serene Highness (HSR) Prince Pusan Svastivatana, the younger brother of Queen Rambhai Barni, presided over the opening ceremony on 2 July 2006. Tewan Sapsanyakorn, a renowned Jazz musician, and his band performed a Jazz concert during the ceremony.
